B's Biscuits & Bandanas
I Know it is time for school to start when we return from our annual August trip to North Carolina!

We all look forward to our time spent up in the Mountains at Lake Hosea! This year proved to be the same uplifting experience. Ron and Linda planned a bit of education for the kids this visit. We spent some time at the nuclear power plant which we enjoyed and then we were taken to the BMW plant to see how they were made. I was amazed at what goes on in the state of the art plant.

Of course my favorite thing to do is just admire the scenery. We're in corn and bean country with flat black land! The creek running through our fields surely don't look like the creeks in N.C. I hope you will take the time to visit my grannycam where you can see some lovely shots of what I consider to be a "little bit of heaven". Mr. Beaux made the trip with us, he is family.... we took some shots of him in a beautiful area we visit everytime we are there. He wasn't real sure what was going on, but as usual he cooperated fully and never fussed. Our daily walks around the lake with Miss Cookie and Mr. Beaux always drew the attention of those around. The two prettiest dogs on the lake for sure!

The photo of Aubrey and the duck in the background (that's Aflac by the way) is special. I have a photo of her at her first visit several years ago now, where she spent hours feeding that same duck we call Aflac! Well she certainly isn't that little girl anymore! Of course Aubrey and Beaux go hand in hand and what pretty spot just right there at the lake for thier photo shoot! Love them all.

Aleck and Ron are a couple of kids for sure. Aleck took his remote helicopter and Ron enjoyed equally as much. Aleck also enjoyed fishing, (never to catch anything) but not for the lack of trying and running his remote controlled boat as often as the battery would allow!

The beautiful lake home is of course Ron and Lindas where we are family when we visit as long as we like. Look real close and you can see them enjoying the upper deck.

A good time had by all!

Enjoy the photos and now it is back to work!
